Two Hassan-owned companies have invested in Dilo Group machine technology. Merkas Tekstil, a supplier to hygiene companies, has ordered a complete installation consisting of fiber preparation, card feeding Multi-Feed and a wide working width card. The line will be delivered in February 2018 to Merkas, a maker of air-through-bonded high loft nonwoven products including acquisition distribution layer material, topsheet, textile edge and ATB facings for backsheet products in diapers, fem hy products and adult incontinence products.
Meanwhile, Hassan Tekstil makes nonwovens used in the automotives, wipes, insulation and geotextile markets. It has ordered opening and blending equipment, a Multi-Feed card feeder, MultiCard and lap drafter, DLS crosslapper and highspeed hyper punch needlelooms in large working width. Delivery is scheduled in March 2018 and the investment iwll allow Hassan Tekstil to improve the product quality and increase its production capacity.
Both orders were placed at Techtextil 2017 in Frankfurt, Germany.
