Polyvel, Inc., a leading manufacturer of specialty additive masterbatches and compounds, has announced several organizational changes. President and CEO, Brian Tidwell says, “The organizational changes and additions we announced today are all aimed and aligning our most important resources, our people, with our long-term goals and objectives.”
Lainie Whitney has been promoted to director of Human Resources & office manager. Whitney has been with Polyvel for over nine years overseeing all the front office functions. Tidwell says, “This was a natural progression for Lainie, as she has been heavily involved in various HR functions in addition to her other duties. This fits perfectly with our need for a full-time HR executive that can assist with our ongoing training, development, and retention plans for our team.”
Fredric “Rick” Wadbrook has added Sustainability to his title of global director of Sales & Marketing. Tidwell comments, “Rick brings a wealth of experience in Sustainability, which is a high priority area of focus for our company.” Wadbrook joined Polyvel in 2022 and is an industry veteran.
Dean Dodaro will be rejoining Polyvel in the newly created role of technical services manager. Dodaro spent the first 13 years of his career with Polyvel before leaving to pursue another opportunity. Tidwell says, “Dean is a highly respected individual both within and outside of Polyvel. He brings a wealth of experience combined with an eagerness to help Polyvel continue our aggressive growth and will be a welcomed addition to an already strong team.”
Madeline Daecher will be joining Polyvel in the newly created role of Quality & Sustainability engineer. Daecher is a recent graduate of Villanova University with a BS in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Sustainable Engineering. Tidwell states, “Maddie has interned for us over the past year and will be a strong asset to our team in both the Quality and Sustainability areas. She is extremely bright, and I am confident that she will have a positive impact on our team and our objectives in a very short time.”
